What's teh performance in the new build compared to let's say 10.2.6? Safari is much better? Is it true that in the new build there is no firewire support?

How fast is it on your G3?

On the Apple Insider forums I read that Panther's UI seems about 40% faster than Jaguar. Would you agree? The darn UI lag is my biggest complaint about OS X. A 40% speed increase could render that complaint moot. :)

I've noticed some considerable speed increases in Panther.

For some reason though 7B21 seems a bit more unstable than the WWDC release of Panther. There are definitely some bugs that weren't in there before.
