I had a trial version of Parallels on my computer and decided to purchase the full product. I got the CD today and promptly ran the Uninstall script on it to remove the trial version. I then installed Parallels from the CD. Now when I start Parallels I get the message that the trial version has expired and that I need to purchase the key. Oddly enough, during the install from the CD I was not prompted top enter the key. What's going on?

I know I can resolve this with Nova eventually, but I don't want to wait until Monday. Anyone else has run into this problem?

The trial and full versions are identical, it's just the activation key that's different. One of the menus in Parallels lets you change the key.

OK, I got it working. I uninstalled Parallels again, searched for "parallels" in Spotlight and deleted all suspects. Judging from the comments above, all I had to do was go to the Help menu and choose Activate Product

Note to the Nova team: the installation process with an expired trial version is unintuitive. The activation step should take place during the installation -- the user should not have to discover it by hunting through the menus. At the very least, the confusing message about trial version having expired blah blah should not come up.
