Parallels

    Does anyone know if Parallels is avaialbe for PowerMacs? If so what is the cheapest way to get hold of it?

    Nope - you need an intel processor.

    Virtual PC is an option, however.

    Parallels Desktop for Mac is the first solution that gives Apple users the ability to run Windows, Linux or any other operating system and their critical applications at the same time as Mac OS X on any Intel-powered iMac, Mac Mini, MacBook or MacBook Pro.

    Looks like you are currently out of luck.

    Thats a bitch!

    Ok if went down the VPc route could i run any version of windows on it? whats the cheapest way to get it?

    VPC is terrible, peformance even on the fastest G5 is abysmal.

    Price of VPC + Windows licence, buy a cheap pc 2nd hand if its critical.

    not to mention that VPC has been discontinued by M$
