I just ordered a C2D Macbook Pro and want to know if Parrallels will be ok for PC game, like Half Life 2?

    Spec is stock 17"
    2.33ghz core 2 duo
    2GB Ram
    256MB Graphics

or should i just go through all the hassle or rebooting and use Bootcamp?

There are a large number of threads on this, if I recall correctly. Doesn't matter though. I believe that there was some talk of some limited gaming support in parallels at some point, maybe already not sure, but your best bet for gaming is Boot Camp.

Parallels has no DirectX support and 99.9% of PC games released in the near past require DirectX 9.0b or better. So Bootcamp is the way to go.
