This would be of a lot of concern to me, that is if I smoked or had a cat.

hitman, I like the avatar, but shouldn't you give a credit line in your signature to Matthew Lewis Carroll Smith ? :p ;)

Oh boy. This could mean trouble for our family starting in the upcoming year...smoking and cats.

FYI, no, I don't smoke. I would rather die than smoke anything.

The problem is that a family member has been doing this for about DOUBLE the time I've been on this planet. And this person does not want to quit.

So when the family moves to Maine (an isolated area, I'm in Wells temporarily right now) we plan to get a cat or two, along with a dog, to keep stray rats away and ****. However, I don't see how the poor kitten will survive in a house with someone who's f!!ked up 30+ years of his/her life and wants to keep smoking. So this is bad news for us.

Funny you should bring that up, crassusad.

We're doing finishing touches on the doors and stuff in the house, so we probably don't have to worry about that.

As for cars, it's like you only see them on your street once every 10+ minutes or so.

I'm just watching out for those FedEx trucks roaring by... :p

I love all these people that say things like, smoking will increase you chance of cancer by 25% thus increasing your chance of death by 25%. Look, it is simple, really. We all have a 100% chance of death. Do we want to live life, and enjoy life, or live off of kelp and diet water for God's sake. Me, I want a smoke, drink, steak, and a tv. That is my idea of living.

Yea, smoking kills your cat. Well, it had to die somehow right.

    Hmmm...

It doesn't say there's anything wrong about smoking the cat though...

    For example:

Q: How do you make a cat go "woof"?

A: Pour petrol on it and set it on fire...

Now that's not very nice. :(

I just took one of ours to the vet yesterday to get its claws removed - she's not happy at all.....it will definitely change her relationship with the dog, but our furniture won't be destroyed.

    >(kiwi) It doesn't say there's anything wrong about smoking the cat though...

You two have some wierd imagination... :p :D

kiwi, I think that if you did that to your cat, you would get burnt later on.

All right, let me add to the fun...

If you smoke around your cat, he may get lung catcer. :p

But, plain and simple, smoking around your cat is just furry stupid. People need to choose between their cats and their flats. :D

I bet the dog can't WAIT to get a piece of that cat (without fear of recrimination!)...

Duke - look at him now, sitting in the corner...

...just plotting his revenge for all those scratched noses he's had over the years....

    NYEEEEEEEHAAAAHAAAAHHHH!!!

Heh, our family just rescued a cat from the wild.

It was about 2 weeks old when we first got it and is now approching it's 5 month birthday.

It's teething though, and has decided that it is going to use our hands and feet as it's scratching post. Not fun.

Too many cats .... not enough recipes!!!!!

Forget passively smoking the cat to death, how about actively smoking a cat in one of those fancy outdoor smoker grills.

    It's faster, quicker, and tastier.
