Have you guys seen this? i think it's just sad.....
Where's the rest of the ad? There's a * next to "$100" which means "you may or may not get $100". I want to laugh more and see what kind of stipulations they have.
But yeah, that's really lame and silly.
Wow, this surprises me since the windows iPod software used to be MusicMatch.
I guess the Apple/MusicMatch relationship went to the crapper.
my guess is it went bad when iTunes came out on Windows...
consumer response: hey, what's that cool-looking device in the middle of the ad? I want one.
my guess is it went bad when iTunes came out on MacOS... and has been going worse ever since
Poor old musicmatch they are desperate...... its a sad day in Dell land.
Dell land? is that like a third world country?
Anyone know what the asterisk really points to?
My photoshop skills suck
but it's all i can do in 5 minutes.
I don't think there was a relationship back then. iTunes predates iPod.
Perhaps you mean when iTunes came out for the PC?
why wouldn't you want a Dell DJ? It has a SCROLL BARREL
and now you can get a 20gb 4g iPod for just $30 more than the 20gb Dell music player...
Dell is desperate...
More precisely, when the music store opened. MusicMatch was not allowed to decode protected AAC files and could not participate in the music store. When the Windows version of iTunes arrived, there was nothing left to be said.
doesn't this ad just highlight the popularity of the ipod compared to the dell dj? i actually didn't think they would go through with this.
As pathetic as this ad is, where is at? Dell's site?
i actually saw the dell dj oin person for the first time last weekend. and trust me, its even worse in real life. MUCH worse...
Ludicrous, isn't it? Since when does a good old-fashioned Wanted poster have fine print?
I think maybe Dell's a wee bit "Desperado."
