Just got my new PB12... but have had an interesting and annoying problem
.
After I initially turned it on, there was a thin white line down the LCD slightly to the right of the center. At first it was very bright and really bad... but it suddenly dissapeared and discreetly came back... this continued for the whole of the first day of use. I turned it off overnight... and it now appears to have completely dissapeared and it hasnt come back (it is now day three).
Has anyone else had this problem or know what it is caused by?
I have nine days in which i can return my PB and swap it for a new one, I'm wondering if there might be any long term impacts of this problem... or whether it might have gone away for good. I range applecare and they had no explanation and have never seen it.
Unfortunately it cast a dark cloud over my switching experience... but I'm still happy with my purchase
