Check this "revolutionary" little baby out...
Put it on light yellow and it reminds me of something from a diner in the 50's.
When did R2D2 and a small trashcan had offspring?
What were they thinking, staring at a flightcase and thought they'd add some stupid looking oval bit to the end and claim it's 'designer' or something.
Why would anyone buy that ?
If I were the designer I would commit suicide.
i-Tee? More like i-Pee!!!
Ok, now this is absolutely nuts - not only that, but each pic that they scrole through on the main display has the different color enclosures in slightly different positions, not very slick.
What were they thinking?
But look on the bright side - with the PC world having this as a design option only means that more people will be scared into using macs!
That is so ugly, I can't imagine anyone could like it.
And it's not like it has any functional advantages either. I'm amazed. It's quite an achievement to come up with a design that a wide variety of people will uniformly agree is ugly. But, IMHO, it's a better achievement to come up with a design that a wide variety of people will uniformly agree is beatiful (like the G4 cube )
The Flight-case element is almost passable (though it looks damned cheap even on those small piccies!)...but where did those colours come from? I think my fave is the Orange one!
...and if anyone can explain to me how sticking cables out of the side of a case is a good idea I'd be very impressed!
Re: PC case design reaches a new low...
Well...at least it has the USB/FireWire ports on the front...wait, maybe that's the side...or the back??
thats disgusting. now wheres that cyanide capsule?
i think its good...........or not.... i think the designer is polluting the genepool and should be prevented from having offspring at all costs!!! apart from that, its great
Actually, it does have one advantage over current PC cases -- the back simply unlatches and folds the motherboard down flat so you can easily access all of the components. (See picture here)
Hmmm...seems like I've seen a hinged-case design like that somewhere before...
The worst thing is, I think I saw this as a PowerMac mockup a while back. I think at the same site with the G4 "train tower".
HAHAHAHAHA, close more like R2D2 getting eaten by a shredder.
