Just about every computer/tec related website on the net has the story about Apple leaking the new PM G5 specs. So it would seem this leak was on purpose. Apple (or even Microsoft) could not buy this kind of advertising. There are also a lot of nebies this month at Macrumors, some of them don't even own Macs. It looks like Monday is the dawn of a new, better earer for Apple.

Steve knows how to work it. Reminds me a little of Andy Kaufman - who's the joke on?

If Apple leaked it on purpose, it was a brilliant marketing move as then knew it would create a buzz.

If Apple leaked is accedentally, well, it still created a buzz.

The real testamant to Steve is the fact that whatever happened, Apple is so interesting to the industry that a buzz was created at all.

Look at the buzz that would be created at HP, Dell, or Gateway if they "accidentally" released the specs for the next generation computer.

It would be surprising if anybody even noticed a 10 minute preview ...
