Performance improvement vs 2008 MBA?

I have a MacBook Air that is two generations old, purchased in October 2008 with a 1.86 GHz Intel Core Duo processor and 2GB RAM. Can anyone tell me how much faster a new one would be? My old one still gets the job done most of the time but is a bit slow and low on memory. How much better would a new one be?

It will be night and day. Even the Late 2010 MacBook Air had considerably better performance than the Late 2008 model (I had the 1.86GHz late 2008 with the SSD, and then the 1.6GHz late 2010). The 2011 model is even faster, and the extra RAM in the 4GB models helps, too.
