i was given an old iPhone 4. Need to do a system restore. Can't do it from the phone as I/we don't know the restrictions pass code. Can't do it from the pc as it says I need to turn off find my phone from iCloud. My friend has no idea what the password is to turn that off. The phone has been sitting in a drawer for a couple of years hence the forgotten passwords / codes. I've tried the backupbot process and it says that the backup is password protected so can't even back door the restrictions pass code.

Any suggestions?

Can't turn off the iCloud lock with out the code or Apple ID. It is a security feature. If there was an easy "black door" it would not be very effective. Unless this data can be used it is a useless device good only for it's parts.
