Photo Booth: Disable Flash

    ....so yea. Is there anyway to disable the white screen "flash" when using photo booth? sometimes I like the darkness in the picture and the whitening of the screen is too bright. Tried looking on apple.com section but couldnt really find anything. Thanks :)

    Well you could turn the screen off that might work.

    I once wanted to do this as well, this is the easiest way to do it...

    follow up stupid question: How do you turn the screen off? If I just push the power button in the back, it puts the imac to sleep? :confused:

    Hmm I've never thought of turning it off.

    system preferences>displays>display tab>brightness bar.

    or... f1-f2 to lighten/brighten the display.
