I'd love to, but I don't think I would be much help with the gardening -- unless it is supposed to be brown. ;) I seem to have much more success with the established plants left by the previous owners than anything I have planted myself.
[doublepost=1461946695][/doublepost]@Laird Knox's Trip-Tych series (which is amazing, by the way) got me thinking about trying to do a diptych of sorts with hummingbirds in different positions of flight. I thought this one (these two?) worked better as a composite image than as a diptych, but I liked the idea of showing the same bird in different positions as it hovered...

That is awesome! Love the background colour and the lighting in gorgeous.

I'll join in with the garden shots and discussion. This constitutes the only nice part of my garden and even then I shot it in black and white. Like AFB - my moss and weeds are coming on a treat.

That is great. Any chance you could lift it a little to get more detail in the control tower visible?
[doublepost=1462016486][/doublepost]Saw a couple clicking one of those love locks onto the fence today. Grabbed it while they werent looking - I was busted of course... 35mm meant I was right next to them and I am not exactly built for stealth... lol...

Actually got out for the first time in ages. Headed to Saltwells Nature reserve to do a spot of birding and bluebell hunting.
However I did come across the odd squirrel whilst I was there.

Used the D7100 for a bit extra reach with the old 200-500mm.
Comments always welcome.

Two in one day? What's your name @Hughmac?
Anyway I like it. The strong shadow gives it good interest. Obviously flash though as there isn't that much sun up north!

Oops yes sorry guys... it was sunny today so getting carried away...

Ha ha ha... flash good one.. like it!

I think a slap is in order for your cheek young man :p

Cheers :)

Hugh

Young? Certainly don't feel it!

Children, children, don't fight. I'm trying to get some rest here.
And remember, Ken was a bit excited playing with his toy on the streets.
