Can someone with CS3 beta check whether plugins for the non universal binary coding will still work with the new photoshop on an intel based mac?

    Thanks a lot in advance.

It's known that they won't unless you choose to run CS3 under Rosetta, in which case it's as slow as CS2. You need Universal plugins.

This is required as you cannot mix instruction sets in a single process.

Thanks very much for that. I just checked out the noise ninja site and they have a new version that is universal and can be used with an existing license number. Not so sure about the power retouche filters though.
