Rower, if we are going every 300 posts or so, can I start the next one [photog thread]? Just sorta wondering...

Nice outdoorsy shots Rower :) Like the colors and DOF.

I took this one last spring. What man builds nature reabsorbs, it just takes time.

That moss is really cool. BTW, thanks for giving links to the old threads as I had asked at the beginning of IV...

That reminds me of MacMumm's pictures of the three Model A's...I think they were model A's maybe Model T's? I don't know I don't remember :)

I couldn't tell you if they were Model T's or Model A's. You are right, that photo looks like it is from the same area where I shot my photo. There is something about old, over-grown autos that make for great photo ops!

Here is a photo I took in Bandon, OR a few years ago. It just seemed to have a bit of an eerie feeling to it. :)

Thanks zync! The strange part about that day was if I turned around behind me, there was barely a cloud in the sky! :)

I think your downtown shots are great, I can't wait to see them! :)

Technically I haven't taken any shots downtown :) I've taken some OF downtown :) but not in downtown...there are some cool things in there...like a small park with a cool water feature running through it...

All the technicalities OF downtown! :p

Here is another shot that seems to have a similar feel to it as the last one...this is South Falls at Silver Falls State Park...

There was something about this shot of Mt. Rainier in Washington State. I always see photos of the entire mountain, so I thought this was fun...

I actually like the trees mostly, and the fact that a mountain picture wasn't landscape oriented!

I think I saw that on your gallery. I think I talked about a thing I was doing with a puzzle, that looks like the older puzzle I can't find. Where is that and what's it called? It's so very beautiful...I love the alagae covered rocks...it's like the water is falling on a beautiful carpet or something...

Yeah, it is in my gallery somewhere. I am working on getting that organized, since it is such a mess at the moment!

The waterfall is named Upper Proxy Falls on the Old McKenzie Highway here in Oregon. I have been there 3 times now, I think it is. It seems that every single time I go, there are new things for me to shoot. You are right, the moss and algae on the rocks looks very soft to the touch. It is way too slippery to find out though! :p
