    Sweet!

Finally! An Apple Store within walking distance from where I live. :D

Does anyone know if they honor educational discounts?

    Pretty nice

I really like the set-up of those stores. Even nicer than the ones here, probably because they are a little newer. I can't complain though, I've got 2 within 15 min.

it's an exact copy of the store they opened in green hills, 5 minutes from my house. It's a good thing, too. I'll be moving to Portland in a month, and I'll still have my apple store to feel at home in.

Oh man, I totally missed this one! The beauty of this store is really it's location. It's in a great part of downtown, it's covered and it's right next to a victoria's secret, which means next time I'm wandering around Pioneer Place with my girlfriend, I can wander into the Apple store instead of sitting on those "man benches" outside the store.

This is cool. It's even closer to me than the other Oregon stores. Since the nearest Apple store in my own state (WA) is still about an hour's drive, it's worth it to drive that extra hour/hour and a half to save the tax. No tax there, 8.8% here. Tough choice. Even with gas prices being as high as they are. Especially if I make a day of it and get some other stuff while I'm down there.

Now release that single G5 Tower Apple! Credit Card's in hand. Any day now...

Yes, they do. You just need some form of ID to prove you're a student/teacher.

Nice pictures, I like the way that the automatic slide show operates. Most of the stores look pretty much the same inside.

Sweet! I was also at the apple store pioneer place grand opening! I wasn't there until after 11:00 am, but I did still get a free t-shirt.

In fact, you even caught me in one of your pictures! :D
