I'm in the market for a macbook. So far, I've been scouring eBay, Craigslist, Apple Refurb Store, and the Mac Forums Marketplace. Any other places I should give a try?

I'd personally recommend macmall.com. They sell Macbooks cheaper, with good deals such has few flash drives, free printers, etc.

I'never never had a problem with them, but other people have, so i dont know.

This is the best site I've found for comparing prices on Mac notebooks both new and refurb/used...

Thanks for the sites. Nice to see what the going rates are on 'official channels.'

Careful of MacMall. They will not ship everything, then refuse to do anything about it. I know from recent personal experience.

What about Amazon? They have good prices (better than Apple) and they don't charge tax.

Not a bad idea. Has a $75 off coupon atm too.
