Hi all,

I'm building a house at the lake. I was there yesterday to pick out some things and learned that my 1st floor great room was not as big as I wanted. :( The opening for the stairs had to be bigger than was drawn on the plans. I was going to put a TV in the GR and a receiver so I could play my ipod on speakers in there as well as on the deck. Now, since I won't be putting a TV in there, I probably won't put a receiver either.

What's the best way for me to be able to play my iPod in there as well as on the deck? I will have a book case next to a fireplace so I could put some small speakers there but I'm not sure how to connect the iPod to them and the outside speakers. Do I have to put a receiver somewhere or is there another way?

Thanks

Greg
