Plea for help, from US soldier in Iraq.

    This sounds a little fishy to me. I would not be supprised to find out that there is probably very little truth in this "Letter".

    Pardon my ignorance, but if the army can do this for five times cheaper than KBR, then why aren't they doing it? Is it the personnel problem? How many soldiers do we still have available? How many bases need to be permanently fully staffed (not just caretakers, but a full complement)? Seems to me it'd be cheaper and safer to do it ourselves.

    Cheaper for the tax payer but smaller profits for the companies that pay your presidents way.

    Bit of a conflict-of-interest, there.
