    no one gives a stuff honestly...he's not promoting piracy by just putting the ip up...thats like writing "google.com" on MR is not wise cos people can search for porn.

    I don't think he is asking whether it is ok because ok piracy issues.
    I think he is asking whether self promotion of something like
    a Hotline/Carracho server is okay on these forums.

    I don't think theirs anything wrong with it...like this is a public forum where people discuss what they want to an extent and they communicate blah blah, so giving a link that a few people might see is nothing major...

    I agree. But there are some cases where someone could post
    something like this and it wouldn't be okay.

    I would check out your server if I used a hotline clinet. :( ;)
