I'm a long time pc user getting his first mac later in the week (the new 2.0 PM, thank you epp). I am currently on a wireless network, but i did not get the ae card (100 dollars seems a little much for a wifi card these days). Anyways, my pcs card is a Belkin F5D6001 v2 (based on the ADM8211 chipset, not the Prism2). Belkin doesnt provide drivers for it, but does anyone know if the airport software will recognize this card? (I already tried google and forum search). Any knowledge would be appreciated. I used OS X extensively in college a couple of years ago, but i never had to deal with hardware config.
