    pokerroom.com

Worked for me for 2 years now. The software doesn't work for macs, but you can play java based online.

I'm on Bugsy, and dear god, I hate it. But it's like crack, you keep coming back even though you know it's horrible for you and illegal (ie, the cards that come out are in no way realistic).

I would love to hear of some good ones as well, as I'm wanting to switch.

I always play at Hollywood Poker. While it doesn't have a client that you can download(for Mac at least), there is a java based one that works quite well.

I use the two listed at http://www.mac-poker.net

Both have worked out great for me - one is a mac compliant program (downloadable), the other is a java client. I'm not a big fan of Hollywood poker, it can crash sometimes.

    Hope this helps!

Mmmm... I see they now have the Full Tilt downloadable client listed? As anyone tried it - does it work well?

    Mac Poker

Yeah, Full Tilt Poker works really well. It runs exactly like the PC version and I haven’t found any flaws in the software. They occasionally have problems with their server though. The whole network was down for about 12 hours yesterday.

Poker on a Mac has some Mac poker information. It’s brand new, so not that much yet, but I still think it's a step up from other mac poker sites.

If you're somewhat new to poker or just looking for soft competition, try out Pacific Poker. You can play it through Java just fine and the competition is pretty soft. If you end up going for this or anyone does let me refer you! We both get cash. (you get $25 I think)

Fulltiltpoker will be the best one you will find. Their software is native unlike the others. The others like Pokerroom use Java. Its ok but the native downloadable ones are the best. Bugsyclub and Gamesgrid have the only other native ones. Bugsyclub is ok and Gamesgrid isnt that great. My top picks go like this.

    Native...
1st Full Tilt - Most popular
    2nd Bugsyclub - Good interface

    Java
    Pokeroom - Good graphics
    Pacific Poker - Good Bonus

Party Poker is not yet compatible but they will probably be within a year. Thats my speculation.

    Poker on the Mac

I've just started on FullTiltPoker and I find it great. At last we have a proper client (with a nice UI and a decent amount of players at peak times - as opposed to GamesGrid) on the Mac.

I don't think it's a Universal Binary yet but my guess is that Rosetta should be OK with this sort of program.

Pokerroom isn't bad but the java version is not as full-featured as the (Windows-only) client sofware.

    My 2 cents.

Oh and I almost forgot: FullTilt have 100% deposit bonus up to 600 bucks for new players. I have to warn you it's slow as hell to release it but at least it's released in steps.

    vegas baby

Well, I am off to Las Vegas over Easter so I thought it would be wise to brush up on my poker skills a little. Sounds like Full Tilt is the way to go then.

Any ideas/links for good sign-up offers?

Also, i have read that credit cards are to start charging any use in casinos/online gambling as a cash advance as opposed to shopping. Anyone else hear about this?

Hell, may bump into some of you many US rumorers whilst in Vegas.

    Ahh the buffets ... :D

    FTP Mac client

Full Tilt's Mac client working great here too. No more virtual PC or java. I also signed up for the loyalty rewards program, http://www.fulltiltrewards.com Win-win.
