This came up in another thread and I thought it deserves a poll...in my opinion it is outright ridiculous...

EDIT: Mistake made throughout - meant to be 'Does God speak to Bush', moderator please change...sorry

I've mentioned this in some other threads... I think Bush may consider himself a Christian, but his actions show that he isn't. If God is speaking to Bush, I don't think Bush is listening.

I suspect that Bush thinks he does.

If God does speak to Bush there is no evidence that Bush is listening.

I don't personally believe in God, but if I did, i think that he would have better things to do that talk to that idiot.

Bush clearly thinks God does, but doesn't this indicate that everyone that thinks they're hearing God is really hearing a voice from within, namely their own conscience? Otherwise why is it that God is apparently so diverse in His views?

Saying that, if you were Bush wouldn't you want to blame it all on someone else?

My neighbors have a bumper sticker that says: "Bush: Bad PR for God" You could invert that and would be about the same imho.

Anyway, this poll needs an option for 'He clearly thinks so'

EDIT: dynamicv = same thought, 5 mins difference.

I don't either, but if he did he would be repeating one word over and over again to him.

    That word would be "Resign".

If Bush's actions represent "God's will" then I want nothing to do with that idea of "heaven"

I would like to be a fly on the wall if Jesus was ever to talk to Bush, how many thousands have died for missing WMDs? Bush isnt close to be a real Christian by any stretch and thats very clear in the plethera of things he has done. He is a spoiled draft dodging corporate puppet and little else. God speaks to Bush? Not a chance.

No. God doesn't exist. Any voices of god that Bush hears is probably a result of schizophrenia :D

I do not believe in God (none of the Christian ones anyways), and I do not believe he talks to Bush. I suspect that the three people who voted yes are silly people and people who consider God to talk to everyone through their experiences.

I was going to put 'No, but God save us if he does' however, that would be ironic on more levels than my brain can handle.

I suspect Bush does hear voices, but I'm doubtful they are God's.

If I remember my Old Testament correctly, didn't God speak through a burning bush. Is George flammable?

Am I getting added to any watchlists by asking that question?

Probably. Because god obviously doesn't give much of a sh*t either.
