As noted in thread, http://forums.macrumors.com/showthread.php?t=1034318&highlight=push+notification+lion, push notification is coming to Lion. Apple developer notes state, "NSApplication can register to receive push notifications similar to UIApplication on iOS. Currently, only badge notifications are supported on Mac OS X." That's seems clear....Apple is allowing developers to enable badge notifications now then seems like they will open the door for push notifications.
What I am getting as is do you think this is a good idea? Would you like to see this feature in Lion? Or no? As a developer, I am curious to see what others think.

Yeah... if they're done right. If they show us iOS 5 today, I think that'll go a long away to explain what'll happen in Lion.

If it's integrated well, yes (that would be awesome). If it's integrated bad (like on iOS 4), no.
