I just received my bonded leather BookCase from Portenzo yesterday and immediately fell in love. It's a beautiful product and it looks great with my iPad 4. Less than 24 hours later, I'm reading an ebook on the couch when a small, 1/2" piece of maple trickles down my screen. It chipped off from the upper right hand corner of the maple casing. Is this normal??! WTF. I haven't thrown it around, slammed it hard, dropped it, or abused it any similar way. I don't mind wear and tear over time, but I did not expect a $100+ case to get chipped only 24 hours into its life.
