Possible Mac Pro price drop?

Does anyone know/think apple will drop the mac pro for the holidays or just lower the price in general?

Nope, expect no price drop -- except for the accessories with the next speed bump.

However, Apple may do some rebates and special deals if you buy a machine with a printer/monitor/software.

ie, buy a Mac Pro/display and we will toss in a free ipod.

Generally Apple's prices for this class of machine has stayed rather stable for 5-7 years. Sticking in a narrow range during this time.

I really don't think prices will drop on any new models coming out. I do believe that prices may increase based on any 8-core models.

I doubt that there will be a price drop in the next revision of the Mac Pro.
