Instead of creating a new post, I'm going to edit my old one since the topic is similar.

I would like to ask OWC Legacy SSD users if the drive fits EXACTLY into the HDD area of the PowerBook or whether there is any space left over. Reason why I ask is because I found a good deal for a 1.8" CF-form IDE SSD, and I figure if I can secure a CF->IDE adapter, I could use that. However, depending on how long the adapter is, I may have to scrap that plan altogether.

    According to OWC, the Legacy is 100.12 x 70.06 x 9.45mm and the drive I am looking at is 74.5 x 54.0 x 5.0 mm.

I would like to ask OWC Heritage SSD customers if the generate suits EXACTLY into the HDD place of the PowerBook or whether there is any place remaining over. Purpose why I ask is because I discovered plenty for a 1.8" CF-form IDE SSD,
