argh! waiting for apple store to update is painful. . no less frustrating since you never know how apple does it, it seems complete random. Some times each country gets an update exactly at the day chage, 12 in the night (like on black friday), and some times is following cuppertino time, and some times its just a random clock hour during the day.

Since they actually seem to be late on everything on this iMac, they probably want to wait with the update until the last hour of cuppertino time. :D

NextGenApple, wow I feel sorry for you. Proabbly made a regrettable investment ? Did you just recently buy the 2011 iMac ? Funny how some people always have to justify why its stupid to buy something they cannot afford.

Just ordered mine in the UK over telephone. Purchased the 21.5 with 16gb ram.
Delivery due between 17-20 Dec, no later. I was told it would have shipped within 7 days or so without ram.

I think they went live around 8:30/9:00 am.

Just ordered my imac I'm so excited its going to be here next week!! Now just have to get my desk ready and prepare for a beautiful imac to arrive at my door :D

Anybody seen any benchmark/Geekbench numbers on the new models? Were wondering how they compare to the previous generation performance-wise...
