Firstly, I know that there is a Post your Windows Setup thread, but PC's may not run Windows. They also may not run OS X.

If you built it yourself, post it here!

    Specs of mine:

    -- Antec Three Hundred case
    -- 350W PSU
    -- ASRock G41M-Le motherboard
    -- 2.4GHz Intel Core 2 Duo E4600
    -- 2GB Kingston DDR2 800MHz
    -- 200GB Seagate IDE HDD
    -- 512MB XFX GeForce 9400GT'
    -- Vista Ultimate

    All for $275 shipped.

    Good idea :)

I actually no longer have this, I replaced it with my Macbook Pro. I'm considering building another one though.

    8GB OCZ Reaper Ram
    8800GT Factory Superclocked
Coolermaster Cosmos 1000 Full Tower PC Case
    600W Coolermaster Extreme Power PSU
    Windows Vista Ultimate 64-Bit
    Acer 24" Widescreen LCD
    Logitech EX 110 Mouse/keyboard combo
    Harmon/Kardon 2.1 speaker system

edit: by the way, it weighed about 90lbs :)

    DAYYYUUUUMMMM that's a purty rig.

Mine needs a better pic, I think. One will be posted momentarily.
  4. macrumors 65816

I thought I'd make a separate post for my other PC. Its slower than the one above, but I like it.

    Pentium D 3.2GHZ
    4GB Ram
    19" Samsung LCD
Xion Solaris PC Case (w/ Sound reactive cathodes)

  5. macrumors 68030

Whoa! It's a ghetto Xion case! No offense, only seen them in the back of my local PC shop. :D

    EDIT: Ever tried cable management?
  6. macrumors 65816

Lol way WAY too many wires.

I have all the standard wires plus the 4 from the temperature reader and 4 more for controlling fan speeds. I also have 2 from the sound cathodes, 1 for the IDE-SATA converter, and several several others..:)
  7. macrumors 68030

In that case, good sir, you are excused. :D

Here are some (hopefully) better pictures. I took the PSU out of the hard drive bays and added a small tri-color LED fan to the front of the case.

Oh, and I cleaned up some.

    Thats a SWEET case!!!! :)

Yes, I did get the DVD/CD lights working.
  16. macrumors 601

Did you just mount some LEDs inside it and then run that to the Power Supply?

I don't think mine came with any LEDs near the DVD tray.
  17. macrumors 65816

Maybe we're not thinking of the same thing :)

    What are you thinking of?
  18. macrumors 68030

T minus an hour and a half until pickup!! Will post pics as soon as it's set up and stable.
  19. macrumors 68020

    I hope you like it!
  20. macrumors 68030

    So do I!
  21. macrumors 601

Where the DVD tray is. Above the power button. Theres a green "bar". I kinda assumed that that was supposed to light up. But, on your pictures it doesn't seem to light up.
  22. macrumors 68030
