This is the iBook G4 I just got, which I've been enjoying tinkering with. Using one of the built-in wallpapers in Tiger, and experimenting with the flat-icns set. Apps in the dock are Finder, TenFourFox, TenFourBird, Transmission, Spotify, VLC, and Quake III Arena (custom icon). Also an old version of iStat Menus running up top.

What DE is that? MATE? You should be using Gnome 3, cuz it's rad.

To get on topic, I'd post my desktop, but that fancy new Start menu just crashed on me. Gotta wait for it to decide to come back.

Mate..

I should not use Gnome 3 because it is NOT rad it’s big fat and boated and besides I cant use my preferred alt/space to launch synapse in Gnome.

This June I'm trying out the dock on the left side.
I find the trick is "automatically hide and show the dock"
Pros: It's Apple so "Think Different"
Cons: I sometimes forget it's on the left side and I hold my mouse at the bottom of the screen wondering why my dock isn't popping up.
