Looks like hardwood to me, but I'm not floor expert.

and how deep is it from the opening to the edge? as from where the place the imac sits in, to the place where you sit in the center. thanx btw!!

From where it sit to the opening. 15 3/4", from the opening to the back 23 1/2"

Here it is, my first Mac!

Past:

This setup was pretty sweet (don't mean to toot my own horn) but I still really wanted (and sort of needed) the Mac.

I sold the PC, the Samsung monitor and the Benq monitor (both are 22" monitors), the 360 is still there but in a different room. I much prefer the 8 bit 24" iMac display to two 22" TN displays.

Present!

I love my new iMac, I'm a very happy switcher.

I am in a bit of a pickle. I am in the market for a laptop stand that raises the back of my macbook by 8cm and was wondering what you guys could suggest to raise it in line with the monitor. I would like it to go with the setup as much as possible so either black or aluminium or both!
Will post my setup as soon as i can get my phone connected to the mac. Infuriatingly annoying
