Yep. Forgot some numbers. I took it from the email I sent myself with my Wii. I'll update it tonight if I can.

Maybe if I could get the stupid thing to connect to the network. I keep getting an error code 32002, which according to big N's site means that Nintendo's server is screwing up. (it does the initial connexion test fine). It'll start downloading but by 25-50% it fails. Did they not think to allow it to do a partial download? I figure they're being swamped. Occasionally it'll error with 52130, but seems odd that a DNS server could be my problem. The DS still hooks up fine on Mario Kart.

Sorry to thread crap (Hey, I think its a valid point) but could they not have came up with a better idea than a long number? I think thats rather hard to remember when you see your mate in the street...

I totally agree with this hopefully Nintendo will soon create the ability to have a gamertag equivalent.....

Better than the DS's online setup, which gives you a different code for each game.

I suppose your right, still, a name would have been easier. But then you get the annoyance of 'This name is already taken'

Can't have it all I guess.

My Wii was set up 30 minutes after midnight on launch day so I wouldn't have had that ;) But certainly, yeah.

lol. Well I only got it once, and it was my own fault. I got Xbox live trial on my Original xbox and registered 'Markleshark' and then a year later I got my 360 and paid for Xbox Live Gold and went to register 'Markleshark' forgetting id already done it, I did mind on, but then couldn't remember email/password or any of the details, so I got something else.

Anyway, Sorry... Wii Codes...

i'll rather have a single numeric code and freedom with the name i choose instead of making up some stupid "Takao1983" or "_Takao_" or something like that

that aside having numbers doesn't seem to be a problem with exchanging telephone numbers

and after all it's a console code and NOT user code which is quite a difference

Guy's I am a little bit lost now.. I do have WiiConnect24 on. Can anyone tell me what i am doing wrong?
I am doing this:

Message Board
Create Message
Address Book
Register
Register Wii
Inputed Wii Numbers for Zap2, Bobber205, MistaBungl(Double Checked)
Inputed Nicknames
Didn't select a Mii for them.

For some reason though I can't send them a message? Can anyone tell me what I am doing Wrong?

I think both sides have to register before you can send messages.
My Wii code is 3941 3308 7609 2077

Yes, both sides have to register before any communication can be done. After that, I think you can attach a Mii. I think it even says that after you add someone, could be wrong.

I just added you too. Now it says we have to configure our internet settings? how the heck do I do that? This system is more definitely more confusing than XBL
