Anyone know where this heatsink is located? I cannot find it in the manual. Temperature software reads out at 260 degrees. When I try to run calibration on it, it says it's out of range.

Any suggestions? It's a late 2004 model, dual processor 1.8.

This is memory controller heatsink sensor. Look for it on the underside of logic board (IIRC).

On the underside? Do I have to take the logic board out? Any idea what it looks like? I'm not sure what to look for. The drive bay temp sensor is obvious, but I can't find this one.

thanks.

I cannot find a better pic, whole heatsink looks similar to this one:

Above is from Dual Core, but you see what I'm talking about, I hope.

So, yes, sensor is located somewhere there IIRC. I have dead 1.8 Dual logic board somewhere in my workshop, I can look closer when I'll be there in few days.
