I've obtained an old Powerbook 1400C, without CD module but with floppy drive module. Also included were the original install CD and what seem to be the original floppy disks containing MacOS 7 (7 floppies, is that correct?).

When booting the machine I get the following message: "The system software on the startup disk only functions on the original media, not if copied to another drive".

If I understood correctly this means a reinstall needs to be done. Since I don't have a CD drive in this machine I can't install from CD. Is it possible to boot/reinstall from floppies on a Powerbook 1400C? I'm new to Apple as a whole, so don't assume any knowledge on my part :)
