is there a firewire or usb drive enclosure that I would be able to plug the drive from a Powerbook G4 12" into? I have a dead powerbook and would like to put the drive into an enclosure so i can recover the data to another machine.

    OR

will the drive work in a Mac Mini, and can you use the mac mini as an external drive (or boot it with the powerbook OS??) to recover the data to another machine?

What you need is a 2.5" IDE Firewire Enclosure.
