That looks very similar to a Lexmark Printer. I would look on the lexmark site and find a printer that looks very similar and try using that driver.

It is a private-labeled Lexmart printer. ;)

ohhhh, i get it, i think. you mean its exactly the same as a particular lexmart printer, but dell put there name on it? so if i get lexmarts driver for thier original printer it should work for the dell.

oops, i mean lexmark

Yes, that is what we mean. If its a post script printer, then you can try a generic post script driver as well.

does anyone know a good site to download drivers from? one were i wont get the sighn up, be a member, check out these ads, and swamp my email thing.

Its all free! No sign up's needed! The site is slow as hell though....

you know, ... i tried downloading the z600 series web installer. and i dont know what it is really. but i also tried the one above it. http://downloads.lexmark.com/cgi-pe...9:0:0&searchLang=en&os_group=Mac OS X&target=
the installers would both crash rite at the end of the instalation. but i would have a folder produced for one of them and be able to get in there and run this:

but if you look. it requires an ip adress for the printer and i dont know how to find that out.
