Yes, up to 4 gigs (as described in the developer notes)-> this is only possible when such large Ram modules appear, as there is only one free ram slot... You often see max 640 because the largest Ram module was 512 at the time the rev A was announced.... just buy one of those 1 gig modules ! ;-)

I'm pretty sure the G4 supports 4 gigs, and the 12 inch 867 supports a gig. Infact i belive if you install a 1 gig dimm it will still only show up as 1024 total, meaning the 128 in the board is gone. Its a limitation of the motherboard, so really no way around it.

no way! on the old pismo's the max was 512, I used 1024 just like that! I'm sure the 12" supports up to 4 gig (I also have the 12" rev A)
