I recently bought a 12" 867MHz Powerbook G4, and I would like to know a little more about the RAM, as it only came with 256MB. I would like to upgrade it to over 1GB, as I hear this is possible, even though officially it is only 640MB. Is this true? Will it run with an extra 1GB?

If this is true, will PC2700 work with it? As the onboard RAM is PC2100. I have read different things. Some places say PC2700 won't work with it, and others say it will. Any other information about RAM for this would be good.

    Thanks.

    That is the case.
You can see the ram you need by clicking here (Crucial.com).
It takes PC 2700. I think you only have one slot though so make it count.
