PowerBook Speaker Noise on Boot Up

Aloha all,

I was just curious...whenever I turn on or restart my PowerBook I hear a faint tapping for a second from the speakers before the system initalizes the loginwindow.

Is this normal, or is in indicitive of something that may need to be fixed?

Hmm, mine doesn't do that. I get a very faint pop and thats it.
