Powerbook Superdrive compatibility...

I'm trying to upgrade my 1.33ghz Powerbook w/ Combodrive to Superdrive and am running into some confusion. The 4x Superdrive is availible from macsales.com for $229.95, but for some reason they say that it will only work with TiBooks up to 1ghz; I even called them and they confirmed that they have no AlBook upgrade. But everyone else that sells upgrade drives makes no such distinction. They only list a different part for early TiBooks without Combodrives. What gives?

I've only found two sources for the 4x drive (UJ-825-C): macsales and a place called DFW, which lists $300 for the drive. Of course, I'd rather save my $70 if possible. Shouldn't a SuperDrive that works in a 1.0ghz TiBook also work in my 1.33ghz AlBook?
