My wife is thinking about changing professions and becoming a realtor. I would like to get her a Powerbook or iBook for her job, but just out of curiousity... are there any realtors reading this post who routinely use a Powerbook for their job and more importantly is the "realtor software" compatible with Macs?

    Hi Hubert,
There is PowerMate software for both Windows and Mac located here:
    http://www.powermatecorp.com/
    And
LoanVision v3 for Windows & Mac located here:
    http://www.businessedgesoftware.com/

I am sure there are more, but those are the ones I know.
Good luck to you and stick around even if you don't switch. ;)

Check with the local Real Estate Board and see what formats their central software supports. Our local board went with a Windows-only system forcing the Realtors to buy Windows machines. :(
