Hi,

I've got a TRT TV that I've had for about 10 years and want to connect it to my Powermac, as my Dell 2005FW died on me yesterday! grrrrr
It only has a scart socket the back of it, so is the only way I can connect them a DVI to scart connector?

Thanks

The apple store will sell you something that converts DVI to S-Video or Composite. There are a few different versions available, make sure you get the right one to match your Mac.

You'll then need to aquire a cable to convert the svideo or composite to a SCART socket.

I've got better results out of composite rather than svideo which was a bit unexpected, and probably just my crummy tv.

A stright DVI->Scart converter might exist but they didn't know of anything at the apple reseller I was at.
