Can anyone please give me a hand?
My powermac keeps crashing about after a few hours of use.

    I installed some new samsung 1gb x 2 ram.

The hardware test and techtool show no problems but I'm positive the ram is the culprit.

this is what I got from the console thing.
    Can anyone please translate?

The best (only) way to test the RAM is to take it out and see if the crashes keep happening.

Yeah I tried that and it helps but this is the second pair that I went through and it still occurs.

the tests are showing the ram being ok but im not sure what is exactly wrong with the ram

does that code above even mention anything about ram?

Too much information and too little information. Need to know more of the circumstances around the crash -- like is is random in any program or even when the machine is idle? Or is it related to a specific action or program or combination of programs, or waking from sleep or,,,,

Which G5 2.0 dual is it -- the Dual Processor with PC3200 RAM or the DualCore with DDR2-533 RAM?

Which tests have you run? Apple Hardware Test? Rember? TechTool Pro?

Is the RAM you are buying guaranteed Mac compatible? Just because it is Samsung does not mean it is the right Samsung configuration, or that the SPD settings are written correctly.

    Thanks for the reply.
I was using ableton live 5 and playing a movie in quicktime on this last occasion.
Toast 8 did it for me last time.
    G5 dual core 2.0 late fall 2005. DDR2 pc4200 533 ram
I ran Apple hardware test and techtool pro.
I found the exact same kind that is reported compatible from otherworldcomputing. Samsung ddr2 pc4200 m378t2953cz3-cd5
