    Hello all,

Once again I've stopped by because I have a wretched memory and attention span. Hope you are all doing quite well since we last spoke.

So, my girlfriend has a lovely dual 2.0Ghz G5, and we were once again searching through some MacMags at our local book store and saw some acrylic side panels and such items for G5s in an advertisement. I was wondering if anyone knew where we could find these kind of PowerMac G5 glamour products. It is her baby, and she wants to show it off.

    Thank you for your time.

You are a very lucky guy to have such a smart girlfriend. I would say that she is a keeper. ;)

Mertzen, I especially like the G5 custom items pictured.

The link has great panels for the G5 and I would order one if they weren't out of stock :(. I hope this 'glamour" G5 stuff catches on so we can see "Pimp my G5" on MTV. MAybe we'll get lucky and have Steve Balmer as the host
    ;)

MacAddict had an article once, "Pimp out your G5" that you could try and find... it was pretty funny.

This is along the same lines as the G-RAID, but (imo) more tasteful:

The three links above are: 1. the FW800/400/USB2 model, 2. the FW400/USB2 model and 3. the USB2 model.

My favorite accessory for my G5 is my LaCie 1TB drive. Its casing is a pretty good match for the Power Mac.

This is mine (the color match is better in person than in the picture):

Oh, and you gotta get that Linksys 5-port Gigabit switch too. (It's sitting atop the G5 on the right).
