Right seeing as I have my PMG5 up and running now Im thinking that its best use would be to rig up some decent sound system with it.

However, Im not to sure where too start... I understand there are PCI sound cards but would this be worth while? Also which ones work?

Whats the best way to rig it all up? What connections should I use and what too...

Any help is always appreciated :)

The Philippines...
I dont have any third party inernal cards, just a pair of M-audio AV40's connected to the analog 3.5mm stereo port.

Sounds great for my needs.

Macs generally have pretty decent DACs and I'm sure the PMG5 is no exception being a pro machine back in the day.

If you have a fancy new AV system you could hook it up via an optical cable (toslink) or if you have a good old hifi or new crappy set then just use the 3.5mm jack
