    Hello,

I recently purchased a macbook pro and an iMac. I still have a powermac G5 that I still want to utilize. I purchased a Zoom USB wireless-N adapter in order to pick up the wireless signal in my home.

I'm running mac os x 10.3.9 (leopard) on the powermac g5. I followed the directions given in the box. The problem I'm running into is that the software (Ralink USBWirelessUtility <--- yes all in one word) won't launch when I click on it even after several attempts at installing it. Has anyone encountered this problem before, and if so how did you fix it?

Ralink makes wireless chipsets, system profiler will tell you what model your chip is.

You can download drivers for it at http://www.ralinktech.com/

Ugh. Yes I encountered the exact same problem myself once. I was not able to fix it. The whole process is an exercise in extreme frustration. Truthfully I would just give up and buy an Airport Extreme card for your G5.
