MAC POWER PC won't wake up, nor turn off. It's just sleeping. Suggestions?
Put the comatose patient in the ICU.

What ever a MAC POWER PC is, I only know PowerMacs and IBM PowerPCs. And even of the PowerMacs, there are at 4 different ones.
But all unites one solution: Resetting the PMU. It's a switch on the logic board that you press for 10 seconds after disconnecting the power cord. As you don't know yourself what kind of Mac you're using, I obviously can't give you an image of the corresponding logic board to show you where the switch is located.

Press the spacebar a few times. Press the spacebar and the trackpad at the same time a few times. Randomly touch keys, move your finger on the trackpad.

If that does not work, try plugging in a keyboard or mouse, USB device or iDevice (iPod, iPhone, etc).

Sometimes if the PB has a very low battery it will not wake up from sleep at all until you plug in the power cord. If the battery level is extremely low you may even have to wait to get enough charge back into the battery to allow wake from sleep.
