Hi. I recently upgraded to Jaguar by doing a clean install. I tried to re-install Kensington MouseWorks, which adds a preference pane to the "Other" section under System Preferences. But, after I restarted, the preference pane wasn't there, and as a matter of fact, the "Other" section wasn't there either. Has anyone had this problem before? Do I need to change a setting or something? Thanks for your help!

    hmmm....

Hi again. I just wanted to add that I noticed another preference pan did the same thing (USB Overdrive). Actually, I found out that it installed it into my regular library, not my system library..
    Can anyone help me? Thanks.

You want to make sure that those prefpanes are compatible with 10.2, if not they probably won't work.

You shouldn't install anything directly into your System folder, use your User/Library/PreferencePanes or /Library/PreferencePanes if you want everyone who uses the computer to have access to it.
