    If it's true that the Senate Intelligence Panel didn't have access to this report, the talking point that "But the Democrats saw the same intelligence" is dead.

    The Democrats are trying to distance themselves from the pre-war claims, but I think this information, whether anyone on the Democratic side in Congress saw it or not, does give a lie to the claim that the White House didn't spin any of the intelligence in making their case for the war.

    The Atta connection is old business. We've known for a long time that the CIA (and I believe the FBI) had a substantial paper trail to demonstrate that Atta was in the U.S. at the moment some claimed he was consorting with Saddam's people.
