Print in color

Hi,

I just purchased a 20" iMac, and I can't print in color, no matter what program I use, photoshop, Word, etc...its always black and white. I come from owning a PC, so I'm learning how everything is working.

I looked at all the printer settings, and there's nothing that says "Print in color or black and white"

any ideas?

I own a HP 1012 and had to download a print utility from HP's website to get to print. Something similar might be needed if you wish to print in colour.

Just a guess, honestly I don't have a clue
